Children and Young People – Arts for Wellbeing
We have 3 Arts for Wellbeing sessions per week, term time only for young people, who need support with their mental health.
The first is on a Wednesday afternoon 3:45pm-4:45pm at Elim Church, Ellison St, Glossop, SK13 8BZ for years 5-8.
The second is also on a Wednesday afternoon 5pm-6:30pm at Elim Church, Ellison St, Glossop, SK13 8BZ for year 9 to aged 18.
The third is on a Friday afternoon 1pm-2:30pm at Central Methodist Church, Chapel St, Glossop, SK13 8AT for year 7 to aged 18.
We call it Arts for Wellbeing – it’s for young people who might be struggling with things like anxiety or low mood, lack of confidence or self-esteem, who might feel socially isolated and just want a bit of time out with other like-minded people.
During all sessions we offer a variety of arts and crafts activities and more, in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. You can choose how much or how little you do, and we want to hear your ideas about how we can make it suited to you.
Sessions are free but donations are always welcome.
